Awake India reacts over IPO- RTI fees controversy

Poonch, Aug. 13: RTI activist and Chairman Awake India, Ayaz Mughal has expressed his surprise over the statement to stop the acceptance of RTI fees in the shape of IPO. Reacting over the recent demand of a Kashmir based RTI worker to stop accepting IPOs as RTI fee on false perception that Indian Postal Order goes into the account of central government. Ayaz Mughal informed that the fee charged through IPO has to be redeemed by the concerned authorities from post office which goes into state treasury. He advised the RTI workers not to issue such confusing and irrational statements.
